New Delhi: The Faculty of Dentistry, Jamia Millia Islamia is going to organize an Inter College Festival “ZEST – 2013” on March 17 & 18, 2013.
The 2-day programme is supposed to be a blend of dental, literary, cultural and sports events escorted by the creativity from the students of various dental colleges in Delhi/NCR.
On March 17, 2013 at 12 Noon, Inter-College Cricket Championship and Inter-College Badminton Tournament will be held in Jamia Sports Complex, Jamia Millia Islamia.
The events such as “Rang De” – Rangoli Competition, “TILSAMI MATKA” – Matka Painting, “Inspiring Wires” – Creative wire bending, “Sarving” - Soap Carving, “Master of Plaster” - Creative Plaster Sculptures are scheduled to be organized in Safdar Hashmi Amphitheatre on March 18, 2013 from 9.30 AM onwards.
On the same day, A Public Health Lecture on “Tobacco Free Initiative” by Ms. Vineet Gill, National Professional Officer, WHO will be held at 11 AM in Dr. M.A. Ansari Auditorium.
As part of the festival, a number of competitions like debate, carom, chess and Nukkad Natak, Talent Show, etc. will also be held in Dr MA Ansari Auditorium/Safdar Hashmi Amphitheatre
