New Delhi: Sarojini Naidu Centre for Women’s Studies, Jamia Millia Islamia, in collaboration with Fakir Mohan Foundation, New Delhi is going to organize a panel discussion on ‘Manav Dharm’ or humanism on April 3.
The panel discussion aims to discuss faith and humanism (Manav Dharm), role of youth in interfaith understanding/dialogue and in promoting humanism, religious pluralism, cultural and linguistic diversity, and role of women in inculcating humanistic values and acting as agents of change.
Najeeb Jung, Vice-Chancellor of Jamia Millia Islamia will deliver the welcome address. Dr. Karan Singh, President ICCR & Member, Rajya Sabha will deliver the Keynote Address on this occasion.
Dr. SY Quraishi, Former Chief Election Commissioner of India shall be the Guest of Honour and will address the audience. Padma Bhushan Prof. TK Oommen will Chair the session.
The programme is scheduled to be held on April 3, 2013 at 10.30 AM in Tagore Hall, Mir Taqi Mir Building, Jamia Millia Islamia.
