Hyderabad: Swami Kamlananda Bharati, President of Hindu Suraksha Smithi, who spread venom against Muslims in his 35 minutes Telugu speech at Indira Park in the city, has been book for his ‘hate speech.’

Speaking at a protest meeting against Akbaruddin Owaisi, organized by BJP, Swami had said that Hindus have power to kill Muslims wherever and whichever part of India they wanted. Swami Kamlananda, continuing his acrimony against Muslims, reminded them of the horrors they suffered during and aftermath of Babri Masjid demolition and Gujarat riots. He said Hindus can teach lesson to Indian Muslims like they had done it before in 1992 and 2002.

On the same day Swami Kamlananda attended another program to crown Telugu Desam Party Councilor, accused in communal riots, Raja Singh as Hindu Samrat. In the meeting, which was attended mainly by migrated north Indians, Rajputs, and Madvadis the new crowned Hindu Samrat made highly vulgar and personal remarks against Akbaruddin Owaisi and asked Hyderabadi Muslims to remember the ‘development’ of Gujarat.

In the felicitation meeting under the supervision of Swami Kamlananda, Raja Singh said soon they will bring Gujarat 2002 ‘development’ model in Hyderabad.

When their speeches became viral on Youtube, and hue and cry was made over the ‘partial’ attitude of Hyderabad police in allowing such communal meetings to take place in such as fragile atmosphere, police have finally swung into action.

Two complaints have been filed against Swami Kamlanada Bharati’s speech, one in Dabeerpura Police Station by Majlis Bachao Tehreek and other in Mirchock Police Station by Mohammed Rehman. MBT president Adam Malik and its spokesperson Farhatullah Khan also met Mirchowk ACP Kishtaiah and submitted a memorandum against Swami’s hate
speech.

MBT, in their memorandum to ACP, stated that by his speech Swami Kamlananda is “trying to create an atmosphere of civil unrest and chaos which is equivalent of waging a war against the nation and helping enemies of the country by creating communal unrest and flare-ups.”

Later Mirchowk ACP registered a case under sec section 153 (A) (promoting enmity between different groups on grounds of religion, race, place of birth, residence, language, etc., and doing acts prejudicial to maintenance of harmony) of the Indian Penal Code. Although action is yet to be taken against equally hate speech of self-proclaimed Hindu Samarat Raja Singh.
