Public audit on PM 15 points programme at Meerut

Meerut: Khudai Khidmatgar organized a public audit on Prime Minister’s 15 Points programme at Lawad in Meerut. Earlier they had organized a similar public audit in Murshidabad and Malda districts of West Bengal, where the conditions of Muslims is deplorable.

Meerut is one of the Muslims thickly populated district in UP according to Minority Commission of India. Khudai Khidmatgar delegation consisted of its leader Faisal Khan and Secretary Inamul Hasan with Western Uttar Pradesh Chief Coordinator Dr. Abdul Majid, who visited the district and had discussions with general public Sai Harman Public School, Lawad.

During discussions, it came to light that even many educated people were not much aware about several government welfare schemes, or about the minority commission, or those programmes meant particularly for the welfare of the minority community.

Faisal Khan said later said that it was shocking to know that palace hardly 80 Km from the national capital has very little knowledge about any welfare schemes. He also urged the youth to take up the leadership of the community at the grass root level and help in betterment of the community.
