Mumbai: The Maharashtra unit of Jamaat – e - Islami Hind observed the ‘Boycott Israel Day’ on May 15, regarded by many in the Muslim world as the Yaum-al-nakabah or the ‘The Day of Catastrophe.’
In a press conference, Mohammad Aslam Ghazi, secretary of the state unit of JIH, also appreciated “the bold step taken by the world renowned physicist Stephen Hawking, who refused to attend and boycotted a seminar arranged by Israel.”
It also “lauded the truthful statement of Ron Paul, the former presidential candidate of USA, who had pointed out that Israel and Mossad are the ‘real criminals’ of the 9/11 air attack on the twin towers of the World trade center in America.
They also welcomed the step of “Google” for recognizing and including Palestine as an independent country in its world map.
