New Delhi: The new year at the Faculty of Engineering & Technology, Jamia Millia Islamia is set to begin on a festive note. The Faculty is organizing TANGELO TOWN’13, faculty’s annual festival from January 18-20, 2013.
14th of January marked the commencement of TANGELO TOWN’S first weeklong event, i.e. Tangelo Sports League. This will be held at the University Sports Complex which was used for Commonwealth Games 2010. The Tangelo Sports League will witness eight sporting events like cricket, basketball etc. The event kick started at the Jamia Sports Complex.
This Festival will be a combination of cultural, technical, sports, literary and art events and will showcase the best talents of students, a press statement by the university noted. It is expected to be one of the most extravagant events of the year, spread over a span of three days.
