Hyderabad: Andhra Pradesh State Minority Commission Chairman Abid Rasool Khan inaugurated the school kits distribution of Hyderabad by giving school kits to students. Popular Front of India Hyderabad Unit conducted a mega school kit distribution program in Fathima Functional Hall in Hasan Nagar on Saturday afternoon at 2:00 pm.
Popular Front Hyderabad unit as part of its school chalo campaign for the past one month has been surveying in the Hassan Nagar area of Rajendranagar constituency. As part of the survey, more than 1000 houses were surveyed for drop-outs and needy students were identified. They have been provided required material in this program.

Abid Rasool Khan appreciated the Popular Front of India’s effort to uplift the community in the field of education and the way needy students were being picked. He extended his support to the programs of Popular Front.

The program was also attended by Khalida Parveen, Women Rights activist who appreciated the work of Popular Front and the way survey has been done in the area and providing the necessary requirement.

Md. Arif Ahmed, State General Secretary of Popular Front of India AP demanded the government to implement the schemes on the ground and not to limit it to papers. He requested all leaders to intervene and work for the upliftment of the downtrodden communities.
