New Delhi: The FTK-Centre for Information Technology of Jamia Millia Islamia is going to organize a two-day workshop on “Modernization of Learning Environment in Higher Education” for the faculty members of Jamia Millia Islamia on January 18-19, 2013.
The training will impart hands-on skills to the faculty members and is expected to help them get comfortable with managing and delivering their teaching content online.
The technical sessions will cover the following areas:
1) Google Appps – Tools for Academic Coordination and Collaboration
2) Content Management System and Virtual Classrooms
3) Content Management System and Virtual Classrooms using Adobe Connect
4) Managing and Sharing Calendars
5) Crating and sharing documents in a secure online environment
6) Managing Online Surveys/Forms
7) Supplementing Classrooms with Course Management Systems – I
8) Introduction to Turnitin - An Anti-plagiarism Software Service
9) Supplementing Classrooms with Course Management Systems – II.
The Inauguration Session of the Workshop is scheduled to be held on January 18, 2013 at 11 AM in the FTK-Centre for Information Technology, Jamia Millia Islamia.
