As If the tag of SUPERMAN for Narendra Modi was not enough, his fans have gone a step further on social networking websites by posting a photograph of some developed cities and claiming it as Gujarat’s capital Ahmadabad.
Recently, this picture became a big hit among #NAMO fans and they are repeatedly uploading it on various Namo fan pages on Facebook. The picture has garnered more than five thousand likes in just 4 days on a particular fan page.
The picture shows a Bus Rapid Transport System well lit- up with skyscrapers in the background and Namo fans are proudly describing it as a developed Ahmadabad’s bus transit rapid system recognized by International organizations.
But a closer look to it reveals a completely different place. The buses in the photo have the left-hand driving system and the sign-boards on streets and buses contain different languages, they resemble like Chinese or Japanese.
After searching it on the Internet, I finally found the original photograph.
The photograph is of Chinese city, Guangzhou’s bus transit system, which won an International transport award in 2011 from Institute of Transportation and Development Policy (ITDP).
Modi fans are letting no stone unturned to glorify the developments of NAMO in Gujarat by photo editing softwares. Well, Modi have a longing for fake publicity and his followers have a longing for a fake leader.
