New Delhi: The 67th Independence Day of India will be celebrated in Jamia Millia Islamia on Thursday, August 15, 2013.
Independence Day Celebrations will be held in the Jamia Sr. Secondary School (New Building). The Independence Day Celebrations in Jamia is also an occasion for the entire Jamia biradari to congregate and celebrate together.
The celebrations on the day will begin at 10.30 AM with the arrival of the Chief Guest Prof. S M Sajid, Offg. Vice-Chancellor of Jamia Millia Islamia.
This will be followed by the Flag Hoisting Ceremony and the National Anthem.
Thereafter, Prof. S M Sajid, the Chief Guest will deliver his speech. Finally, the programme will end with the distribution of sweets among the students.
