Aligarh: Samajwadi Party (SP) Supremo Mr.Mulayam Singh Yadav has dented the communal harmony of State by banning the 84 Kosi Parikarma Yatra of VHP. He pointed out that only 200 Sadhus were expected to participate in the Parikarma but by banning it Akhilesh Government has turned the atmosphere of state in favour of VHP.
Secretary of forum Jasim Mohammad said that on one hand Mulayam Singh Yadav is sharing tea with VHP leaders and on the other banning its Parlikarma Yatra. He said that this drama of Noora-Kushti was pre-planned but the real face of SP has been exposed otherwise why Akhilesh government failed in talking action in 19 riots of state?
Prof. Humayun Murad said that the Hindus of state are peaceful and if the yatra were not banned then nothing could have happened. Prof. Shahabuddin Iraqi pointed out that religious rights are enshrined in Constitution and everybody should be allowed to perform them. Dr. Mohammad Shahid said SP has tried to mobolise its vote bank by banning the yatra but the muslims have understood game plan of Mulayam Singh Yadav. Dr. Naseem Ashraf said that the way in which VHP leader and activists have been arrested was not proper and has impacted the communal harmony of state.
In the end of meeting FMSA passed a resolution condemning the ban on VHP Parikarma Yatra. In another resolution FMSA has demanded that all arrested VHP leaders and activists should be released at once.
