Sharjah: Middle East's largest and world second largest International Book Fair (SIBF), opened its doors on 6th November and it will end on 16th November at the Expo Centre Sharjah, UAE.
The main aim of this event is to promote and encourage reading habits of the books by providing a common platform to various publishers to display their collection of titles to what is now becoming a niche segment.
In this fair, the books published from the world well known publishers and writer’s books in different languages were displayed & kept for sale.
The Sthuthi Publications, from Mangalore is the only one Kannada publisher who has spread the Kannada flavor in this book fair by displaying their various books for sale in this fair. Sthuthi Publications has gain the credit of only one publisher who had displayed books in Kannada language in this desert.
Their famous publications like ‘Safala Jeevana, Anthar dristi and Shanthi gagi Vivaha books along with the Prasthutha fortnightly magazine were displayed.
The non-resident Kannadigas who visited this fair are excited to see books in their mother language for display and sale. The Sthuthi Publications has gained word of appreciation from Kannadigas for displaying Kannada literature in this international fair.
