Aligarh: The Training & Placement Office (General) of the Aligarh Muslim University organized a workshop on “Self Employment and Youth” in collaboration with the National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC). The objective of the workshop was to make the students aware of different opportunities of self-employment.
The resource person of the workshop, TS Rajput, DGM, NSIC provided the students with information about various projects and schemes for setting up their own business. He also elaborated at length the entire procedure of setting up a small to medium sized business projects and the documentation required in this process. Rajput urged the students to attend a one month training programme on Entrepreneurship regularly organized by NSIC.
