New Delhi: The Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI), has criticized the ‘apology’ offered by the Home Minister Shushil Kumar Shinde on the Hindutva terror remark. In a statement issued by the SDPI, E. Abubacker, national President, said, “It was clearly an indication of the pitiable surrender to the pressure tactics of BJP leaders who try to present themselves as guardians of Hinduism.”
E. Abubacker added, “On the eve of the Budget Session of Parliament, Congress led government is trying to curry favor with Sangh Parivar which had engineered bomb explosions in Malagon, Macca Masjid Hyderabad , Ajmir and on Samjautha Express in which a large number innocents had been killed. NIA has exposed the terror conspiracy behind the blasts.”
He further alleged, “By tendering an apology, the government is subtly reinforcing the Hindutwa forces. It also exposes the government’s unwillingness to take on the criminal acts of the Sangh Parivar.”
