New Delhi: The Outreach Programme in collaboration with Jamia Discussion Forum is going to organize the screening of much acclaimed film Chittagong directed and scripted by Bedabrata Pain & Shonali Bose.
This is an Indian film released worldwide in October 2012 which narrates the story of the freedom struggle in a small village of Chittagong, which was a part of undivided India (now in Bangladesh). It shows the story of young bunch of zealous and passionate youth, all below the age of eighteen years, whose uprising failed but it compelled a lot of leaders to relook and re-enforce their struggle for freedom. It has been well received by critics and academicians alike.
The screening is scheduled to be held February 25, 2013 at 2.30 pm in Mir Anis Room, near the administrative block of the university.
