Police Commissioner refutes every major claim of media on Hyderabad blasts

Hyderabad: Mainstream media these days is not getting their pie of excitement and sensation which they use to get generally from the police in aftermath of terrorists attacks. Hyderabad Police has learned their lessons from their past blunders is very cautious in handling this recent bomb blast investigation.

City Commissioner of Police Anurag Sharma in his press conference on Saturday refuted all the major sinister plots cooked by the media till now.

During his press conference journalists from different news channels tried their best to put words in his mouth. Mr. Sharma made it clear that still no one is detained or arrested regarding the blast investigation. Contrary to the reports or rather rumors in news channels of detention and arrests from different parts of the nation.

When journalists were asking frequent questions about the involvement of phantom organization Indian Mujahideen, Commissioner specifically said that investigation is still in progress and there is no lead to link any group to the blasts.

Commissioner also disclosed crucial fact that CCTV cameras where working at the blast sites and footages of some bomb planters were acquired from it. He made this point putting to rest rumors spread by news channels that CCTV cameras wires were cut off by terrorists before the blasts.

Mr. Sharma also ridiculed the rumors spread by some regional Telugu media that originally Sai Baba temple at Dilsuknagar was the target. He said that all these are rumors without any basis.

Hyderabad City Police in the press conference also announced that six teams under Special Investigation Team is formed under Addtl. DCP Shindalya. City Police also announced 1 million rupees award for giving any information on the bomb blasts.
