Ajman: Emirates India Fraternity Forum (EIFF) has conducted FOSTA 2013 (Family Orientation and Students Talent Acquisition), on May 17, 2013 at International Indian School, Ajman, an educational and creative workshop enriched by enlightening sessions by expert social psychologists and eminent educationalists.
Intended for families and children from the age of 7 to 18, FOSTA was replete with training sessions on various topics viz, modern age parenting, vibgyor of life, stress management and it held competitions of Painting / Clay Modeling, Collage, Elocution, Quiz and Short Film contest for students.
World renowned psychologist and psychotherapist, thinker and Professor Dr. Abdullah (Periyar Dasan) was the Chief Guest. He did a very informative session regarding Stress Management followed by an effective interaction with the audience. Mr. Abdul Rasheed, Director, La Pass Academy and Vice Principal of Model School Abu Dhabi conducted a lecture in Grade A+ and Vibgyor of Life for students and Eminent Abu Dhabi based Psychologist Mr. Ibrahim A.M. led the training session on “Effective Parenting” for parents.
The response was overwhelming for the competitions. The winners are:
Elocution - First Prize: Farah Jamal Al Kurdi (Palestine), Second Prize: Ajith Roy
Painting - First Prize: Aditya A., Second Prize: Gayathri Sonal Nair
Quiz - First Prize: Surya Ramesh, Second Prize: Santo Tojy
Collage - First Prize: Sanya Sanjeev, Second Prize: Kaleel Ajmal
3-Minute Short Film - First Prize: Rameez, Second Prize: Mohamed Shafi
The first prize is 8 gm gold and the second prize is 4 gm gold. The gold prizes were sponsored by Al Haseena Jewellers. Besides that many consolation prizes of Gift Vouchers were also distributed. These gift vouchers were sponsored by Antics Land, Dyna Trade and Pizzaro.
Mr. Periyar Dasan distributed the prizes for the winners. Mr. M.S. Abdul Hameed welcomed the gathering, Mr. Dhameem gave an introductory speech about EIFF and Mr. Munavvar delivered vote of thanks.
