Mumbai: Representative of Muslim organizations based in Mumbai met Uttar Pradesh chief minister Akhilesh Yadav yesterday to press him on various demands.
To the Muslim delegation Yadav promised that Muslim youth falsely accused of terrorism will be released. He said investigation in the death of Khalid Mujahid is ongoing and those guilty will be published.
Abdur Rahman Anjaria of Muslim Personal Law Board (Jadeed), Amir Edresy of All India Muslim Youth Movement, Abdus Salam Khan Qasmi of Jamial Ulama, Siraj Ansari of Ansari Foundation, Ishtiyaq Ahmad of Al Ansar Foundation and Maulana Irfan Aleemi of Aleemi Movement of India were some of the members of the delegation.
