Aligarh: The Aligarh Movement monthly magazine and the Millat Bedari Muhim Committee (MBMC), Aligarh will jointly held an Sir Syed Essay Writing Competition-2013 on ‘Importance of Sir Syed Movement in 21st Century’ for school, college and University students on Sunday, 06 October, 2013 at Aligarh.
Elaborating on the competition, Secretary of MBMC Jasim Mohammad told media persons that the main aim of the holding competition is to make youngsters aware about life and work of Sir Syed Ahmad Khan, the founder of the Aligarh Muslim University. He said that the competitors should be bonafide students of any school, college and university. The competition will be held in two sections. In first section students of class 8th to 12th will take part while the students of Graduation to Research will fall in section 2. They may write essay in Hindi, Urdu or English language and Modern Indian Languages. Jasim Mohammad told that in each section, first prize of Rs. 1500/-, Second Prize of Rs. 1100/- and the Third Prize of Rs. 800/- along with a memnto & certificate will be awarded.
The interested Students/Institutions may get themselves registered in Media Centre, 15-16, (1st Floor) Muzammil Manzil Complex, Dodhpur, Aligarh before 01st October 2013. He hoped that large number of students will take part in competition this year.
