New Delhi: The Outreach Programme, Jamia Millia Islamia in collaboration with Indian School of Women’s Students and Development (ISWSD) is going to organize a Young Girls’ Convention on issue of “Consent, Choice and Young Women”.
The Panelists in the Convention shall include Prof. Malini Bhattacharya, Director, ISWSD, and Former Member, National Commission for Women 2) Shubha, Writer, Poet & Former Professor, M.D. University, Rohtak and 3) Nandita Rao, Lawyer, Delhi High Court & Supreme Court.
The purpose of organizing the event is to spread awareness amongst the young girls about legal literacy on violence against women.
The programme is scheduled to be held on September 25, 2013 at 2.30 PM in Mir Anis Room, Dayar-I-Mir Taqi Mir, Jamia Millia Islamia.
