Lucknow: The All India Sunni Board, an organization based at Lucknow, has demanded expedition of inquiry in the recent riots in Lucknow. The board has though thanked the government for constituting a special team for investigating the riots in Lucknow but has demanded that it should be concluded at earliest.
The board met under the presidentship of Mohd Mushtaq and demanded that government should also probe the influx of funds from Iran in Lucknow which may be done for enforcing the agenda of Iran in India and particularly in Lucknow.
The board also demanded that several local channels which are being operated from Lucknow are airing anti-Islamic views. It demanded that such channels should be stopped else they will result in riot in Lucknow.
The meeting was attended by Maulana Mihajuddin Qureshi Nadwi, Qari Zainul Abedin, Maulana Mohd Akram Nadwi, Maulana Haroon, Haji Faizuddin, Mohd Farooque Khan etc.
