Riyadh, Saudi Arabia: A website was launched here on Friday to highlight the contribution of ulama of Indian subcontinent in Quran and Hadith scholarship.
The website is a brain child of Maulana Mohammed Najeeb Qasmi will feature articles and books written by him and other reputed scholars.
Maulana Dr. Uzair Ahmed Qasmi, General Secretary of Markazi Jamiat Ulama-e-Hind, New Delhi launched the website www.najeebqasmi.com.
Later Dr. Hafeezur-Rahman Falahi, Akhtarul-Islam Nadwi, Dr. Sarwar Hussain and Maulana Dr. Uzair Ahmed Qasmi spoke to the gathering of about hundred people and highlighted the usefulness of the newly launched website.
Mohammad Najeeb Sambhali Qasmi is an alumnus of Darul Uloom Deoband and Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi. After completing Islamic studies and theology at Darul Uloom Deoband in 1994, Mohammad Najeeb Qasmi joined Jamia Millia Islamia University (JMI), New Delhi where he did graduation in Arabic. He also completed MA in Arabic from Delhi University (DU).
Mohammad Najeeb Qasmi has been working in Riyadh since 1999 and nowadays pursuing PhD from JMI under the supervision of Prof. Shafiq Ahmad Khan Nadwi.
